Our Story

Cornerstone Concepts was created by Rob Fournier and Katherine Fong in February 2008.  The company was created for a number of factors.  

Rob is very familiar with the potential disasters with purchasing a "Lemon" as some people would call it.  The first car Rob bought was a 1993 Buick Regal GS.  He was excited about being able to buy a car on his own and obviously missed some red flags.  When he was test driving the car he noticed that there was a digit on the odometer missing.  He asked the sales person about it and was told "This car only has 5 digits on the dash".  Seemed logical and he was excited so he over looked it.

After driving the car for about two weeks he noticed that he had driven, according to the odometer, 40,000km.  It was at this point that he figured out that the 2 in front of the 14600 was missing.  So instead of 146000 kilometers, he thought the car had,  the car had 214600 kms.  The 2 had burnt out.  Soon afterwards the engine started to knock, and needed to be replaced.  After this unfortunate situation started, he then did some research and found out that the car had been in two $12000 accidents years earlier.  The mileage issue, voided the warranty he bought and he know was in debt about $9500 for a car that was worth $500.  If he had slowed things down and been thorough he would have avoided this, but his emotions got in the way as apposed to common sense.

We have one of our vehicle experts test drive it b. Get it mechanically inspected by BCAA c. Clarify the history of the vehicle to expose hidden pitfalls by running a CarProof report d. Negotiate the best possible price

6.	Finally, we arrange the pick up of your new or used vehicle.  We bring you to the dealership, help with paperwork and to make sure everything promised by the seller is provided.
